A character from the great Neon Genesis Envagelion serie by Hideaki Hanno. (Gainax)
I don't own this character, which is property of Hideaki Hanno and Gainax. The official site of the serie is here -> [link] but it's in Japanese. If you don't know Evangelio I really suggest you to watch the serie because it is wonderful! My scanner screwed up the colours and I would like to make a CG version of this picture (but I have no spare time). Comments

It isn't an anime for children: it has a lot of philosophical concepts, violence and angry characters... But she is gorgeous! Your anatomy on this is especially good  -- I want to live, I want to experience the universe and I want to eat pie. Like Neverwinter Nights? Join *TheMoonstoneMask!  I love that series. I grabbed the box set a year or two ago with my Christmas money. Its amazing.
As for the actual art. I must say, you adapted well to the Eva style. I do like her, but I think the back wings angle could be improved. It follows the front on too much, and the angle she's on , it wouldn't. But, other than that, yay. :3 Great job. -- Live through this and you won't look back. I'm not sorry theirs nothing to save.  I love the beauty and perfection of the lines on this piece. She's so gorgeous! I'm a fan of the series and I would say you've captured Rei ... well ... the FIRST one [that loved the good doctor] very well.
The use of the wings adds significance in that they were fighting against Angels and that she - in a sense - was an Angel herself. Magnificent. Thanks! |
